Creative Project Assistant Manager (Visual Merchandising Graphic Designer)

Job Mission

Reporting into the AVP of Visual Merchandising, the Creative Project Assistant Manager will coordinate all graphic design projects and graphic requests for Retail, Specialist Retail and PR events. Work closely with the production vendors ensuring quality control. Manage and allocate duratrans and icons’ budgets for the Specialist, retail & special projects events.

 

Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute design layouts for Retail, SR, SDP and events.
  • Coordinate all graphic projects for retail and SR.
  • Partnership with the communication team in order to maintain a consistent brand identity throughout all campaigns.
  • Layout iconography and decorative objects on floorplan elevations for new stores openings and renovations.
  • Designing in – store signage, posters, banners, directives, shelf display and event signage following brand guidelines.
  • Working with SDP designing barricades layouts for new boutiques and spaces openings.
  • Create InDesign or EPS’s layouts for production.
  • Liaising with other retail professionals, including marketing, retail merchandisers and events when necessary.  
  • Monitoring cost and working within budget. Prepared PO’s and reviewing invoices.
  • Catalogue and maintain photo files and database of seasonal campaign concepts for windows, duratrans, icons and special projects.

Qualifications

 

  • College degree in business with emphasis in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Art
  • Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience, preferably within the luxury and/or fine jewelry sector.
  • Strong professional with analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong creative ability; ability to "think out of the box". Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and thrives in fast-paced, creative and rapidly growing environments.
  • Has the flexibility and ability to learn quickly.
  • Proactive in anticipating and planning projects.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Outlook, CAD).
  • Experience with SAP systems (or similar) a plus.

Expected salary: $80,000 - $90,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
