The assistant manager of SDP & Construction Americas is responsible for assisting project managers with new and ongoing projects. The assistant manager will assist project managers with coordinating with our internal design team, external consultants, contractors and business partners from the feasibility study phase, schematic and design development phases through the execution and tender phase to the final construction and turnover.  The position responsibilities will also include procurement efforts of OSI items and other project administrative tasks such as assisting with meeting agendas/ minutes and cost tracking

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assist PMs with coordination of all project consultants
  • Assist PMs with creating presentations for internal and external partners
  • Assist PMs for the cost tracking of the project. Process invoices and work together with cost control for reconciliations in regular basis
  • Assist PMs with procuring and coordinating owner supplied items
  • Day to day administrative tasks relating to the projects
  • Responsible for layout improvement projects North America
  • Frequent travel required – Up to 30%

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required
  • 2-3 years of experience in luxury retail design and construction experience.  
  • Inhouse store design experience preferred.
  • Fluent in AutoCAD, Excel, Adobe CS and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong communication skills in verbal, and written format
  • Highly organized.
