Job mission

As Assistant Digital Manager, you will be responsible for critical aspects of the Cartier.com brand site experience, helping to develop a cohesive consumer journey that optimizes site engagement, conversion, discovery, and choice efficiency for the online customer.


The Assistant Digital Manager will report to the E-Merchandising Manager to support in executing the NA website digital projects roadmap and in monitoring various e-merchandising initiatives. This position will:


  • Coordinate cross-functionally with the HQ e-Merchandising, NA E-Commerce Operations, NA Product Marketing, and NA Merchandising teams to reach Cartier.com’s commercial objectives
  • Co-lead short and long-term strategy and execution of Cartier.com merchandising projects to drive the e-commerce business while ensuring best-in-class customer experience
  • Glean valuable insights through analyses of new on-site programs and initiatives to increase conversion, engagement, and overall choice-efficiency on Cartier.com



In partnership with E-Merchandising Manager, the Assistant Digital Manager will:


  • Drive & implement improvements of existing on-site programs such as, but not limited to: A/B testing, on-site Search optimization through Salesforce’s Einstein AI recommender, rank-order product listings, product recommendations, navigation enhancement, and other new tools to enhance cross-selling and user-discovery on Cartier.com
  • Manage the digital catalog in partnership with Merchandising and the E-Commerce team
  • Manage end-to-end setup of all products for Cartier.com in partnership with HQ E-Merchandising teams in conjunction with local marketing sales events (holidays, local marketing initiatives, etc.)
  • Work with HQ to develop performance dashboards to improve click-thru-rate, on-site engagement, bounce rate, and optimal product assortments by incorporating sell-through and historical data with Google Analytics data
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain a holistic site content calendar for eCommerce visibility and cross-functional alignment
  • Closely monitor website KPIs to respond quickly to changing customer preferences and optimal product exposure (i.e., best-sellers, novelties, special collections)
  • Analyze and optimize product presentation to ensure maximum conversion, cross-selling, and AOV increases
  • Conduct competitive analyses of online retailers to ensure that Cartier.com remains best-in-class in the luxury market and is evolving with online consumer trends
  • Partner with local Product Marketing and Merchandising teams to present optimal product assortment given latest local product strategy and sales data
  • Share insights with Merchandising and Product Marketing teams to educate stakeholders on best market practices for Cartier in the digital environment
  • Support in leveraging historical sales data and past initiatives to test and recommend new strategies
  • Recommend new website initiatives and innovations for Cartier in the digital space
  • Support in working with Media and Content teams to maintain and update all product imagery and copy
  • Ensure strong site stability thorough troubleshooting and resolution on critical issues, tool setup, and processes for quality and performance control



  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering or Marketing
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, luxury or digital environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills & ability to work with cross-functional and international teams in a complex organization
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Organized with experience in executing projects and a strong attention to detail
  • Data driven mindset, good analytical skills and sales driven
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
