PRESTIGE "HIGH JEWELRY" SALES ADVISOR - CARTIER MIAMI

 

Cartier North America is seeking a High Jewelry Sales Associate who will be responsible for achieving and exceeding High Jewelry sales goals through exceptional client experience and client relationship building. The ideal candidate will be able to personify the Cartier spirit through a deep understanding and conveyance of brand values, culture, image and High Jewelry strategy.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILLITIES:

Achieving Sales Goals & Develop Strong Relationships:

  • Create and set strategy and action plans for HJ client development for their market
  • Advise on in-store product need, based on strategy and market expertise
  • Advise on timing of HJ events, based on strategy and expertise in market
  • Advise on large financial spends to forward business, such as charity events, social outings, etc.
  • Make ROI business case for financial contributions
  • Represent Cartier at events
  • Train sales associates on HJ initiatives
  • Acting source for sales associates to help develop their understanding of HJ business and closing sales
  • Primarily commission-based compensation when making sale in boutique
  • Provide consistent excellent client experience by maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
  • Consistently achieve or exceed  boutique and personal sales goals within HJ/Tradition/Fine Jewelry categories
  • Consistently and accurately capturing all clients data in  support of building and developing lasting relationships
  • Identify through client discovery high potential sales leads, exercising targeted and diligent follow-up, creating HJ selling opportunities
  • Propose and implement strategic CRM initiatives for an existing high potential client base in a proactive way
  • Cultivate and develop new client’s relationships, through exceptional client care and brand CRM initiatives.
  • Deliver a 360’ client experience, introducing multiple product categories and services in an effort to maximize client potential.
  • Regular in-store and offsite event participation and networking, including Cartier HJ International events
  • Independently and proactively resolve client issues
  • Partner with all departments and colleagues to ensure superior client experience and a contribute to a positive environment
  • Consistent and thorough follow-up on client care service matters
  • Be regarded  as a reliable source of information to management and corporate partners for HJ products and high potential client feedback
  • Provide regular product updates with boutique team

 Operational Support:

  • Daily set up and break down of boutique for opening/closing
  • Assist with Boutique projects as needed (inventory, organization, restocking of supplies, etc...).
  • Assist in the merchandising and overall daily maintenance of the cases (i.e. maintain proper visual standards; product maintenance and understock organization)

Knowledge & Compliance:

  • Possess deep understanding and knowledge of brand and full range of all products to convey Cartier heritage and values
  • Understand and comply with Cartier security and operational procedures (i.e. product handling, inventory control, etc.)
  • Possess a full understanding of the relevant marketplace and client demographic
  • Remain current on all industry news and the competition

 

YOUR PROFILE

Education:

  • 4-Year College degree preferred
  • Additional language skills (Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Arabic) are a plus
  • GIA certification is a plus

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury retail, service or hospitality environment
  • Previous HJ experience is a plus

Technical skills / abilities:           

  • Must be available to work retail hours including weekends
  • Must be available to travel (international and domestic)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail store environment
  • Basic computer Skills (tablets, PC)
  • Must be able to stand on feet all day benefits

Personal Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required
  • Natural interest and curiosity in HJ, FJ and Tradition product range as well as in the luxury industry
  • Proven success in client relationship building and networking
  • Strong understanding of Customer Service needs and Customer (internal and external) priorities
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision
  • Ability to project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner, and demeanor
  • Self-Starter with Team-Player approach
