Account Executive, as an ambassador, will represent Maison Cartier Parfums towards our retailers in the Southeast region. They will be responsible for the Southeast market development (sell-in and sell-out) while respecting the profitability target fixed by their manager, and the Maison image.


Develop sell-out

  • Build the sell-in through strong sell-out initiatives in your market.
  • Review and follow up the sell-out results per door and propose an action plan if needed (Cartier vs competition)
  • Present marketing plan and novelties to the in-store team. Convey the distinctive positioning of the Maison via presentations.
  • Negotiate locally with managers to develop in-store sell-out (animations, staff incentives, space, location, etc.) in liaise with Commercial Director.
  • Monitors RTV, DIF to decrease returns in stores
  • Follow-up on needed stock levels and product availability


Improve Image and Visibility

  • Ensure the perfect implementation of VM guidelines
  • Follow-up the implementation and execution of trade marketing activities (visual weeks and events negotiated at corporate level as well as at store level) and merchandising negotiation
  • Supply sufficient stock of testers and POSM per door and make sure the elements in store are always in good condition
  • Follow up with DC/Director to ensure all POSM are available in the stores.
  • Negotiate locally with store managers better location, extra-visibility, and extra-events at store level


Manage the FS’s team

  • Manage the FS freelance team
  • Optimize scheduling & location
  • Follow-up the retailer's coop FS
  • Conduct quarterly coaching moments
  • Monitor and develop the productivity per FS
  • Train them (participate to training events / Academy Cartier in territory)
  • Develop clientele by monitoring client database per FS

  • Knowledge of luxury goods, preferably in the fragrance industry in the US; 5 years of experience required.



  • Bachelor’s Degree required


Required experience

  • Sound analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and timely.
  • Flexibility to travel is required. 
  • Able to manage self-efficiencies: take a proactive approach to streamline processes with effective utilization of tools and deployment of resources both financially and qualitatively
  • Able to drive FS team development through effective leadership skills: Enhances bench strength through mastery of skill set, while inspiring others to accomplish goals.  
  • Strong communication skills: able to provide open, fair, and honest communication at all times. 
  • Demonstrates ability to engage in effective collaboration / develop business relationships. 
  • Demonstrates learning agility.


Technical Skills/ abilities

Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, and Powerpoint
