Intl. High-end Watches Business Development Project Manager

MAIN PURPOSE

The Intl. High-end Watches Business Development Project manager supports the commercial development of Cartier high-end watches within all the networks for Fine Watchmaking and the watch Specialists network for the Fine Jewellery Watch. The priority of the job will be to ensure a smooth events (SIHH & HJE) coordination for the high-End watches and give support to the market.

This person will reporte to the Intl. High-end Watches Business Development Manager.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Watch & Wonders organization and attendance

Before the event 

  • Coordinate with the markets the VIP attendance. Organize the overall VIP slot allocation per market
  • Coordinate all topics related to this event with marketing, operation and business unit HJ (Watch selection, display preparation, Sales tools…)
  • Build-up the runners team (before and during the salon)

 

During the event

  • Welcome the markets team and their VIP, provide them with a private salon and manage the overall time slot schedule by adjusting the agenda with early or late arrival of the client
  • Coordinate all topics related to VIP with central teams, events and FHH organization (Gold access for VIP, hostesses, …)
  • Support markets for any questions related to the organization of the VIP area and / or the watches information

 

After the event

  • Ensure delivery and invoice follow up with operation and markets
  • Prepare a debrief presentation

 

2. High Jewelry Event organization and attendance (FWM scope):

  • Coordinate the selection of Fine Watches with operation team and share it with HJ and marketing department
  • Propose a display assortment to Business Unit High Jewelry.
  • Ensure the invoicing follow-up with market and the BUHJ
  • Possible attendance to a major event (HK, Singapore) and full permanent attendance to Paris strategic event from 20 June till 1st of July. (Provide availability of watch collection, Attribute limited numbers, support market teams…)

 

3. Support markets

  • Cross coordination with markets and Operation/BUHJ to ensure the right level of FWM et FJW pieces in each market
  • Cross coordination with marketing and markets to provide any information related to FWM & FJW

  • Short-term contract 8 months : 1st February till end of september 2020
  • Geographical area under coordination: Worldwide
  • Distribution network scope : Wholesale & Retail for FWM, Wholesale for FJW
  • Headcount supervised : None                           

PROFIL

Business Master Degree

2 years of experience in the watch or high product-content luxury industry.

Ability to work in an international and cross-functional environment

Already participated to commercial events

Good capacity to promote ideas, persuade and overcome resistance

Good knowledge watchmaking products from Cartier and from competition

Public speaking skills in French and English

Analytical and strategic-thinking skills

Problem-solving skills and result-oriented mindset

Flexible and adaptable

Ability to travel internationally
