 MAIN MISSION

The manager has the responsibility to create the appropriate framework to develop external online sales & services and manage accounts with all online external partners. In collaboration with markets, central departments and Richemont Digital Distribution team where relevant, the manager needs to ensure the development of the business through dedicated commercial action plans with partners. She/he and the team will ensure the consistent level of service and client experience of these distribution channels as well as the proper management of each account, either directly or through our subsidiaries. 

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Strategy

  • Defines the e-Partners overall mid to long-term strategy 
  • Ensures alignment on strategy with management and key stakeholders 
  • Prepare the framework for the good execution of mid to long-term strategy with markets, partners and key stakeholders 
  • Follow-up with markets and readjustment  

 

Commercial action plans and account management 

  • Co-define annual commercial action plans for each online partner in line with long term strategy: 
    • e-Partners Watch Specialists 
    • e-Retailers Watch Specialists & DS 
    • Pure players
  • Coach markets to co-design and execute commercial action plans 
  • Ensure consolidation and active follow-up of plans implementation 
  • Supervise a team of central account managers for daily operations 

 

New opportunities / business development 

  • Constantly explore new online partners business opportunities 
  • Provide guidance to markets in assessment of online retail partners opportunities 
  • Lead discussion with new partners  

 

Collaboration framework 

  • Define and revise when necessary commercial conditions & terms with partners.  
  • Define and revise when necessary the collaboration legal framework  
  • Assist markets in negotiation process where relevant 

 

Team Management 

  • Team of 2 headcounts
  • Set goals and KPIs, ensure that objectives are met 
  • Develop the team and ensure proper succession planning, mobility and recruitments 

 

JOB PROFILE

  • Master’s degree with at least 7-year of experience in luxury industry in commercial/marketing roles.
  • Previous background in online retailing is a strong asset
  • Experience with “marketplaces” such as Amazon, tmall, Lazada, eBay is a plus.     
  • Negotiation skills, Leadership, Entrepreneurship mindset 
  • Capacity to understand digital and technical topics and systems with no necessity to master them 
  • Fluent in English
  • Convincing interpersonal and relationship-building skills, ability to constructively argument and influence top management decision as well as accompany teams through mindset change. 
  • Proven organizational & project management skills in complex environments 
  • Team management 
  • Ability to travel between 20 to 30% of the time, worldwide
