We would like to take the opportunity to talk to you about the vacant International Compliance Analyst role in our International Compliance Team, on a temporary mission.

Our International Compliance team reports to the Maison CFO and mainly covers the following scope of responsibilities:

  • Business compliance, related to compliance in regards to Cartier internal rules, procedures, and business routine processes.
  • Regulatory compliance, related to the adherence to external laws and regulations relevant to the activities of the Maison.
  • Risk management, which consists in the identification of the strategic risks for the Maison, and in the definition of relevant mitigation plans.

 

In this position, you will contribute to the overall Compliance function by overseeing all compliance, risk and internal control related topics. You contribute to navigate and monitore both global strategy and local operational execution, ensuring compliance at all levels of the Maison.

This role you will report to the International Compliance Manager. You will also have a high exposure with all Cartier markets, HQ support functions and manufactures, and also with the Group.

 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Deliver monthly follow-up, analysis and reporting on key compliance topics

You will cover keys topics such as anti-money laundering due diligence, stock management, internal boutique reviews’ follow-up, etc.

 

  • Maintain and create compliance and financial procedures

You will work on procedures for boutiques through the Boutique Operation Manual, for manufactures and for the Maison at large, in close collaboration with various contributors such as: International Retail team, Group Compliance, Legal, HR, Security etc. You will also support the markets in the implementation of these procedures.

 

  • Operate the worldwide annual compliance testing campaign

You will perform testing of controls related to Maison policies (stock management, anti-money laundering, giftings etc). You will also identify deficiencies in key control activities, areas of improvement, support and challenge local Management with developing remediation plans.

 

  • Contribute to the digitalization of the department

With the support of the Finance Data Project team, you will build dashboards and automatized workflows by identifying appropriate data sources, efficient tools / methods to analyze and test the data in order to strengthen the compliance control framework.

  • In a complex and changing environment, you may be called upon to work on other ad hoc assignments within the Compliance team that may require your assistance: support of the annual risk assessment for instance.

 

 

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • You hold a Master’s Degree (Business School or Engineering) with 3-5 years’experience in compliance, audit (internal or external), or internal control
  • You have experience in a multi-cultural and matrixed environment experience
  • You are fluent in French and English
  • You have digital and data strong interest (SAP or Analytics knowledge would be a plus)
  • You possess excellent knowledge in Excel and Powerpoint
  • You are results oriented and autonomous
  • You are able to manage and prioritize multiple matters simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to interact effectively with individuals from multiple departments at all levels of the organization. 
  • You are able to proactively develop relevant and realistic action plans and recommendations to influence great outcomes. 
  • You have high ethical standards and integrity to actively role model the Cartier’s compliance standards.
  • You are  able to handle confidential and sensitive information using impeccable discretion and judgment.
