This position is embedded in the Client Marketing team which is based on 4 pillars: Client Relation, Client Services, Client Insights and Client Data & Knowledge.

The International Client Data scientist manager will be part of the Client Marketing Data & Knowledge team.

This newly-created position will help to build predictive analysis on customers’ behavior by using state-of-the-art machine learning technics in the aim of improving the impact of our Client Relation initiatives. He/she will build a team of client data scientists.

The International Client Data scientist manager will also be responsible for ensuring that all the client related data needed for his/her analysis are gathered in the GCP datalake, with a high quality so that it can be leveraged in his/her analysis, working on that in close collaboration with our Client datalake product owner.

His/her role will be transversal, working very closely with team members of the Client Marketing team but also with team members of other teams such as Richemont IT. He/she will be interacting with a community of data-scientist from Commercial and Operation teams.



Develop predictive analysis & machine learning

  • He/she will select features, build and optimize machine learning algorithms to support the customer relational plan for Lifecycle activations as well as product activation.
  • He/she knows how to explain the methodology, present the results to non-initiate audience, support markets in the implementation and the testing of the predictive models.
  • He/she is up-to-date with ML innovations. He/she will propose and implement methodology improvements on the algorithms (integration on third party data, new algorithms etc..)


Lead the Client Predictive strategy

  • He/she has a strong expertise on Client Predictive missions
  • He/She will have a strong understanding of business needs regarding Client Predictive
  • He/She will have excellent communication skills to adapt his/her communication (from Group Tech to Markets, from Marketing to Commercial teams)
  • He/She will foresee the new challenge and tool to embrace for the Maison.


Manage a team ( actually composed of 1 FTE + 1 intern)

  • He/She will support them with their day to day job.
  • He/She will make sure the coordination with different teams is done smoothly.
  • He/She will challenge his/her team to make it grow.



  • You possess a master’s degree in computer sciences, Computer Engineering or related field
  • You have at least 7 years’ experience in machine learning applied to client related activities
  • You are fluent in English and French
  • You possess experience in machine learning (Python being a strong asset)
  • You have good management skills
  • Knowledge of Cloud environment is a plus (GCP and BigQuery being a strong asset)
  • You possess an analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
  • You have excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • You are to interact with a wide variety of people
  • You are customer & service oriented
  • You are flexible and have an independent working style
  • You possess expertise in Luxury Retail is a plus
