POSITION SUMMARY

 

The High End Business Development Manager is to support the team to grow the High End segment, building business relations, High-end clients recruitment and engagement, develop partnership and events support.

 

 

HIERARCHICAL REPORT

 

The High End Business Development Manager reports to the Managing Director, Macau.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Building Business relations
    • Implement action plan to recruit new high profile clients.
    • Initiate and maintain contact with third parties (hotels concierge, casino VIPs host, landlord clients relation…).
    • Work with retail department to identify strong potential clients and initiate follow up action plan.
    • Be an ambassador for the House with external parties and clients.
  • Grow the High End segment
    • Assist the HJ team and retail department in reaching HE sales target.
    • Enhance the credibility of High End segment by demonstrating strong HE sales presentation.
  • Develop Partnership & Events support
    • Organize intimate events with HE-lover, collectors with the support of events and clients team.
    • International and Local High Jewellery Event support
      • Support sales staff during HJ events.
      • Entertain business contacts and initiate sales during such events.
      • Identify potential partners to recruit prospects.
  • Coordination with Marketing Product team
    • Share on the monthly basis, client and sales associates feedback to Marketing dpt.
    • Competitive intelligence, be update and aware of the competition.
    • Check on the web network or forum the brand and competitors’ presence, visibility.

 

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

 

  • Education 
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience
    • 8 years working experience  and business development, either luxury field or other high-end industry
  • Specific competencies
    • Strong networking skills, details oriented and positive work attitude
    • Strong negotiation skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft office, AS400 would be a plus
  • Languages
    • English (mandatory)
    • Cantonese (required)
    • Mandarin (required)
  • Required interpersonal and behavioral competencies
    • Proactive in attaining market, customer and competitor knowledge
    • Able to multi-task, reliable, positive attitude and able to work under pressure
