Searching for a dynamic professional whose prime function is to assist and support the Cartier Communications team for the territory of Latin America & the Caribbean.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communication:
    • Authorize advertising layouts complying with the brand’s guidelines
    • Negotiation of articles and editorial to be approved.
    • File all advertising/editorials insertion to be sent to headquarters yearly.
    • Promotion incentives and gifts
    • Evaluate and research possible sponsorships opportunities in the area
    • Create a report/database concerning communication activities, to be presented to the brand manager in the monthly bases.
  • Communication expenses:
    • Coordinate, follow up and control all communication expenses  – locally and at - Headquarters (PLV, Furniture, Coop advertising, Production, Events, Sponsorships, Incentives, Gifts, other related activities)
    • Follow up directly with Finance and Accounting departments to ensure that correct figures it’s been report in Miami and to Switzerland monthly.
    • Ensure clients coop-reimbursement throughout the year.
    • Report monthly committed and invoiced expenses to management and headquarters
  • Media plans:
    • Request and analyze client’s media plans for the year.
    • Present a final annual media plan by May of each year.
    • Ensure that all coop and institutional advertisements follow the corporate advertising standards
    • Negotiate advertisement placement within the magazines, acquaintances with new and existing media
    • Ensure the quality of information flow with the brand marketing team at Headquarters.
  • Events:
    • Coordinate International VIP events, VIP cocktails and press conferences throughout the region working directly with the client (speech, interviews, temporary watch collection) and any 3rd parties (coordinate tent/booth setup)
    • Assure editorial coverage by invited media and others
    • Organize and provide editorial material (catalogues, press kits, leaflets, gift bags), gift order
    • Assure the brand’s presence (banners/flags/posters, local media) is according with headquarters standards
    • Host journalists, photographers and clients during the event.
    • Approve all outsourced advertising/transparency/duratran layouts within Panerai guidelines.
  • PR:
    • Work directly with Public Relations companies or trough clients PR departments in order to have a constant updated view of each local market
    • Provide Press Kits and related PR material to the media and ensure that full potential coverage is achieved in each area.
    • Create and maintain constantly updated, a follow up file for editorials in the area with “pige” value to be report to headquarters
    • Maximize the brand’s visibility and constantly increase the editorial coverage.
    • Request headquarters guidelines regarding media interviews.

 

Profile

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.

2 years’ experience in a similar position or in an office work environment

Advance proficiency level in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Portuguese would be a plus

Good planning and organizing skills; ability to prioritize and plan work activities; ability to

multi-task; good communication skills, written and verbal

Pro-active, dynamic and availability to work extended hours

CANDIDATE MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.
