Jewellery Product Manager (m/f/d) – Northern Europe

 

OUR MISSION

 

In line with the Maison’s vision and international strategy, the Jewellery Product Manager for Northern Europe will lead category projects at short, medium, and long-term horizon, cross-functionally in coordination with other departments (Communication, Client activation, Business transformation and Commercial), Boutiques and central teams. This includes building in-depth analysis and understanding of the sales results to drive action plans to boost sales, leading & promoting Jewelry 360 projects and all related activities focusing on key launches, and work hand in hand with all stakeholders to ensure strong and on time deliverables.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

PRODUCT SEGMENT ANALYSIS AND MARKET INTELLIGENCE

    • Provide comprehensive sales analysis for product segment based on network, collections and client profiles
    • Propose and implement short term and long-term action plan according to trend and objective
    • Follow market trends, visit and monitor competition, update market shares, gather client insights to identify key opportunities for growth
    • Set and revise annual sales budget by collections to be in line with strategic focus
    • Drive sales through initiatives and activations together with client, retail and communication departments in order to achieve budget
    • Partner with senior management in elaborating 3-year plan, business review and market visits

  IN RANGE AND NOVELTIES MANAGEMENT

    • Define and implement a detailed product launch roadmap based on Maison’s strategy
    • Responsible for the novelties and range forecasts with global Supply chain and local Commercial and Merchandising teams
    • Collaborate with merchandising in defining/revising assortments ; define strategic launches in limited networks & routing of collection
    • Gather and consolidate market feedback about new launches and report back to HQ when needed

PRODUCT VISIBILITY

  • Collaborate with visual merchandising and merchandising teams to ensure visibility of the category in boutiques
  • Collaborate with the media team to select the collections and models in line with the local action plan
  • Work closely with PR for endorsement opportunities and important shootings to consolidate brand awareness
  • Collaborate with the Clienteling & Services and Events team to ensure the best client experience on CRM and Communication events

 

 

COMMUNITY ANIMATION & PRODUCT EXPERTISE

  • Develop a strong knowledge of the product categories from a technical, storytelling, clients, and commercial point of view.
  • Continue to build and animate the jewellery community to drive sales in Boutiques
  • Work with L&D department and HQ counterparts to maintain a high standard of product knowledge
  • Perform trainings to newcomers, office, Boutiques and CRC communities

 

Headcount supervised: a 12-month intern co-management (shared with other Product Managers) and cross department Project Leader on selected transversal initiatives.

 

PROFILE

  • University / business school master’s degree in business administration or marketing
  • 3-5 years of marketing and category management experience, previous luxury and jewelry experience a plus
  • Fluent in English. German would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent time management, communication and problem solving skills
  • Curiosity and interest in researching best practices ; able to manage and build from scratch new projects and to lead cross-functional teams
  • Team-oriented, comfortable interacting and working in a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to travel as needed within Northern Europe market and HQ in Paris and Geneva
  • Strong proficiency of MS Excel, SAP BI, Power Bi and PowerPoint. Looker knowledge would be a plus
