MISSION

Reporting to the Communications & PR Manager, the role of the Communications & Events Executive encompass creative, analytical, digital, commercial and administrative responsibilities, from the involvement in the development and performance of Communication campaigns to the study of data analytics and organizing brand events for media and clients.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Communications
  • Assist and proactively contribute to the development and implementation of the communication campaigns
  • Regular follow up with local media agency on deliverables, from the monthly material request forms to media recommendation and campaign reports.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and brainstorm potential improvements or changes in Communications strategy
  • Facilitate and oversees the production of all advertising materials
  • Writing and proofreading creative copy
  • Assist in the development of effective PR plans using appropriate strategies and tactics
  • Arrange and coordinate interviews with HQ
  • Effectively deploy different media channels to optimize PR campaigns reach and success
  • Plan and coordinate PR activities – product placements on KOL, press meetings, presentations, photoshoots
  • Compile and distributes monthly communications plan / reports to internal stakeholders
  • Analyze results of PR campaigns and reporting

 

  1. Event management & execution
  • Responsible for all preparation and coordination work to meet overall demands of the event’s objectives and production requirements
  • Update and follow up with internal and external parties on the different aspects of the event.
  • Assist with on-site supervision and logistics during the event as well as installation and dismantling of the event
  • Ensure high quality production and timely roll-out of the event
  • Manage all necessary administrative work and logistics surrounding the event i.e. purchase orders, delivery, warehousing, inventory

  • Solid knowledge on Malaysia’s media landscape and data analytics
  • Familiarity in luxury/retail segment is preferred
