MAIN PURPOSE

 

As part of the Cartier Global Travel Retail team in the role of V.I.E - Fragance Executive, you will participate in the development and implementation of business strategy to accelerate Cartier fragrance conquest in the Travel Retail environment in Asia. With the support of your line Manager, you will be in charge of the sales analysis and forecasts, operations and trade marketing coordination within your assigned networks to drive the sales. The lenght of this V.I.E assignment is 12 months and ideally starts in September 2024, the position is based in Hong Kong.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? 

 

  • Contribute to plan and implement the Travel Retail strategy in collaboration with your direct manager.

  • Support the growth of Cartier’s presence in key locations within Global Travel Retail through fragrance business development

  • Provide assistance in formulating the business strategy and commercial goals for the Global Travel Retail team for Fragrance.

  • Assist in developing action plans for each Point of Sales to achieve commercial target in terms of qualitative & quantitative aspects.

  • Share monthly target with POS and analyze sales/KPI for incentive scheme on monthly basis.

  • Analyze and evaluate product sales results, collect and provide qualitative feedbacks to control and minimize operational risk.

  • Follow up product assortments and ensure the execution excellence of retail and trade marketing activities.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Communication team for media campaigns and to optimize visibility and brand image consistency for boutiques.

  • Monitor market intelligence focusing on competition, market trends, pricing, product recommendations and client service.

  • Establish and nurture relationships with external partners.

  • Ensure partners are following Maison standard in terms of product assortment, image, pricing & services.

  • Analyze inventory level, evaluate overstock / shortage risk including non-saleable items, and re-balance stock to optimize sales.

  • Take responsibility for product marketing and operational duties for key regions including Hainan, Hong Kong and Macau.

  • Support the training strategy (planning, focus, training materials and organization), motivation program and follow-up.

  • Coordinate with Training Department and partners for the training program agenda and follow-up.

  • Work in close collaboration with boutique managers on novelties and strategy launch.

As a Global Travel Retail Fragrance Executive in Hong Kong, you will have a great opportunity to be an essential contributor in a dynamic team, working for the success of a first-class Luxury Maison under strong business acceleration and transformation. We believe in shared success and understanding that with your actions you elevate your team and Maison. To contribute to team success, we expect the following:

 

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • A relevant professionnal experience of at least 2 years in operational marketing or commercial service in connection with the international, in the perfumes/cosmetics sector, ideally in Travel Retail.
  • Experience in commercial/operational background are welcome.
  • Independent, initiative with strong analytical skills.
  • Attentive to details, multi-tasking.
  • Proficient in MS Applications with solid skillsets on Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
