As a member of the Cartier Executive Committee, the Operations Director is responsible for Supply Chain Operations for all networks including Retail, TRA, Specialists, E-commerce and direct to consumer.

He/she actively drives business planning, securing upstream and downstream flows to support product strategy and to meet sales targets.   

He / she must master the balance between product visibility, demand fulfillment and inventory risk.   

He/she initiates and undertakes all necessary actions to support continual improvement, to reach operational excellence and to ensure that compliance requirements are duly reflected in standard operating procedures.

He / She is the main interlocutor of the Richemont Logistics Department.




Reports to the Regional Managing Director.

Collaborates centrally with Cartier Operations.

Collaborates regionally and locally with Cartier Marketing and Commercial teams and with Richemont logistic and compliance




1-Supply & Demand Planning;

  •    Covers Hong Kong and Macau domestic network and Travel Retail Asia
  • Designs mid-term and long-term strategy in collaboration with central and local stakeholders.
  • Conveys the business priorities, launches stock and network follow up, and assortment definition
  • Regularly shares and updates SOP to all counterparts and stakeholders, for better understanding and alignment across departments.
  • Evaluates performance, alerts on any risk for the business, suggests improvement and alternatives whenever necessary.


2-Sales Oparations

  • Implements the central guidelines and projects related to auto-replenishment, inventory policy, product visibility, New Retail and stock mutualization.
    • Maximize product availability, reviews inventory policy, manages replenishment and stock balancing, shortens replenishment lead-times and optimizes the operating procedures for distribution.
  • Defines KPIs to measure Operational performance and assures regular feedback to central and local teams.



3-Project Management

  • Animates the regional Supply Chain community, sharing best practices.
  • Supports roll-out of IT projects and change management (e.g. Carat roll-out, Gemini roll-out).


4-Prepare for the future

    • Follows market trends and provides market intelligence related to Supply Chain capabilities.
    • Anticipates the transformation triggered by an omnichannel strategy: and digitalization  and articulates the needed organizational changes


    • Grows technical expertise and business acumen skills.
    • Identifies key team competencies, builds learning and development plans for the team.



  • Education :
    • Master Degree, preferably in Management Science and Engineering / Logistic Management .


  • Experience :
    • 10-15years, preferably from Retail and/or luxury industry, including 5-10 years in a senior management role, ExCo level experience is a plus.
    • Experience in Data Science or IT projects / SAP roll-out
  • Skills :
    • Leadership capabilities;
    • Agile, able to manage change in a constantly evolving environment.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • Comfortable with complexity and multicultural environment
    • Excellent analytical skills.
    • Customer focus, people oriented, good communication and influencing skills,
  • Languages :
    • English (mandatory); Cantonese and French (highly preferrable)
