The cost control manager will manage financial tasks associated with all boutique and specialist projects and selective assigned projects in Japan.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for coordinating and executing all vendor contracts
  • Manages cost control aspects including vendor onboarding, capex and opex budget forecasting and tracking, invoice processing through SAP, payment follow up, change order compliance, cash-out forecasting, close out and TA collection
  • Interface with contractors and vendors for requesting information or clarification related to invoices and change order
  • Identify cost variances to approved budget by working with closely with PMs to monitor and alert the Risk.
  • May require occasional Travel- up to 5%-10%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or construction management  
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant financial experience on capital construction for high end retail projects
  • Inhouse experience preferred.
  • Fluent in SAP, Excel, Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF
  • Verbal and Written skills in Japanese and English required
  • Strong communication skills in verbal, and written format
  • Strong knowledge of construction project life-cycles and cost.
