MAIN PURPOSE

 

On a very competitive and growing market driven by a strong economic growth, you will have overall responsibility to define the strategy and then build Cartier Parfums Travel Retail business in Asia. You will be responsible for defining client strategy, leading annual negotiations, meeting sales targets and implement an ambitious operational action plan in line within Cartier Parfums strategy.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Sales and business development: 

 

Responsible for sales and business development in Travel Retail Asia

  • Define and propose Cartier Parfums regional strategy in line with Maison’s strategy
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities with existing and new partners in the region
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial terms and new openings with operators
  • Build & nurture privileged relationships with Travel Retail operators, helping them to embrace the Maison’s vision
  • Analyze sales performance and KPIs: sell-in/sell-out/rankings/market share
  • Control stock levels and forecasts sales according to business seasonality in coordination with Operations/Supply chain/Marketing departments
  • Propose and negotiate product assortment selections as well as new launch quantities with Travel Retail operators
  • Implement commercial action plans to drive sales (incentives, events, animations, local actions)
  • Build & managed TR Asia dedicated team
  • Responsible for sales and P&L

 

2. Marketing & Communication:

 

  • In line with the Maison’s strategy and in collaboration with the Travel Retail Asia’s Marketing team, define, propose and implement the trade marketing action plan for each market/location to better address clients’ needs and achieve commercial efficiency: assortment optimization, pricing, animation plans
  • Work in close collaboration with Central Fragrance Marketing team on product launches, VM, price related issues, animations guidelines etc.
  • Provide Central Marketing with relevant feedback on product development needs and marketing tools

 

3. Visibility & Image:

 

  • Ensure the Maison’s image is respected and protected at all times, inside each boutique and POS: impeccable environment, visibility, staff grooming, VM displays etc. and take corrective actions as necessary
  • Achieve and increase brand visibility at store level by securing the best instore visibility (permanent display and promotions) and by ensuring proper VM displays in each boutique and POS

 

4. Team management:

 

  • Responsible for the recruitment & training and performance follow up of Beauty Advisors (BA). Manage relationships with temp. agencies
  • Handle coaching and training for all staff in boutiques on product knowledge, selling tips, and service skills, with the support of local subsidiary training teams

 

 

Your profile:

 

Education/languages:

 

  • Master’s degree in a business-related field
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, other languages (French) are highly appreciated

Personal skills:

  • Excellent negotiator with a strong leadership
  • Strong interpersonal, entrepreneurial skills
  • Ability to build and motivate diverse teams
  • Result oriented, committed, flexible, “hands on”  
  • Analytical skills with a capacity to be a strategic thinker

Required experience:

  • Experience in Travel Retail Asia
  • 7+ years of experience in Perfume or Beauty industry
