Media & Planning Manager

MAIN OBJECTIVE
We are looking for a Media & Planning Manager to join our Cartier Swiss Market team !
The Media & Planning Manager will help develop a winning communication strategy for the market. They will define a framework to track communication performance (Media & CRM, Events, Press, VM Retail Analytics).
The Media & Planning Manager will be in charge of developing and tracking A&P budget and develop, plan, negotiate and manage Cartier’s local media advertising strategy (print, Out Of Home, digital…) in line with HQ & EU guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Planning
- Together with Marketing and Communication Director, design local marketing, commercial and client calendar, in line with international & EU guidelines focusing on the specific adaptation to local context and challenges.
- Lead to planning of the yearly market A&P budget, including monthly reporting, phasing, LE cycles, end fiscal landing
- Leads the Budget Committee with transversal view from VM, Client & Programming
Media Plan Strategy and performance tracking
- Present and validate local innovative Media Plan with Central during twice yearly meetings and on a yearly basis
- Oversee planning of yearly Market Plan across all media platforms: Print, OOH, and Digital
- Oversee validation of local communications strategy with HQ Communications Team
- Ensure Cartier share of voice in all categories is maintained in all yearly communications planning
Communication agency Management
- Manage relationship with media buying, creative and digital agencies, production house: manpower allocation, review & budget
- Control quality and cost of local agency
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s degree in marketing and/or communication
- 5-8 years of professional experience working in advertising or related agency
- Preferable experience in international luxury brands
- Strong communication & Influential skills
- Strong ability to build effective working relationships with different parties
- Excellent strategic planning skills with comprehensive thinking
- Strong command of both written and spoken English & French
- Strong Analytical skills and use of Excel
- Digitally savvy
- Self-motivated, positive attitude and team player
