MAIN PURPOSE

 

The supply planner manages optimizes the supply and stock availability, while respecting product strategy, central operations and commercial guidelines

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

DEMAND PLANNING

 

  • Define the regional forecast by reference/product category in collaboration with headquarter and adjust the stock policy
  • Assess the supply needs on a monthly/quarterly basis to reach sales target and ideal stock level. Chase delays from vendors and ask for additional stock if necessary. Share the planned deliveries with sales operations
  • Follow up on product availabilities and challenge headquarter for shortages
  • Define launching assortment on novelties and confirm the agreed ones to all parties involved. Make sure that purchase orders (manual or automated) are triggered accordingly
  • Monitor and communicate about the performance through KPIs

 

STOCK MANAGEMENT

 

  • Analyse inventory level vs target and actual sales vs forecast. Alert on risks or changes in trend.
  • Request stock and availability to headquarter.
  • Monitor stock rotation and propose action plan to reduce discontinued stock level
  • Initiate macro returns and other action plans on slow movers to sales operations. Executes returns to Head Office
  • Request destructions on obsolete or defective stock.
  • Work closely in collaboration with our local logistic, quality and finance department.
  • Monitor and communicate about the performance through KPIs

 

NOVELTIES

 

  • Supplier order processing

ANALYSIS AND PROJECTS

 

  • Monitor and communicate about the regional performance through KPIs
  • Participate to the regional supply chain projects
  • Improve supply chain information systems

 

MASTER DATE MANAGEMENT

 

  • Define and communicates prices in local currencies
  • Guarantee price coherence between all markets systems

 

JOB PROFILE

 

Education

 

  • BA’s degree in Business

 

Required Experience

 

  • 3-5 years in a supply chain, merchandising department

 

Technical Skills / Abilities

 

  • Fluent in English, French is a bonus
  • Good knowledge of Office (Particularly Excel)
  • Knowledge of NSI, SAP is a +
  • Comfortable in general with most IT
