Learning and Development Manager

MAIN PURPOSE

 

Ensures all Cartier staff can confidently embody key messages of the Maison related to History, values, creations and Art of selling.

 

Develops and rolls out the Learning and Development programs throughout the market.

 

Animates and motivates teams to work and learn with the available tools.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE 

 

1. Learning and Development Planning

 

  • Analyze and identify training needs based on:
    • Internatinal guidelines on the Maison’s priorities
    • Lcal business challenges
    • Individual perfrmance appraisals and Individual development plans 
  • Arbitrate and validate the final needs with local ExCo members, managers and HR
  • In alignment with Cartier Middle East Learning & Development Department, identify and propose appropriate solutions according to the needs (in class/self-learning/on-the-job) and the allocated budget

 

2. Training Plan Implementation

 

  • Define the training calendar (in-class and e-learning), in alignment with Cartier Middle East Learning & Development Manager and the Regional calendar
  • Manage organization and logistics of in-class training programs and e-learning platform
  • Deliver appropriate collective and individual development solutions (including in-class training sessions)

 

3. Follow-up and Measurement

 

  • Update Quarterly the training plan
  • Evaluate participant’s satisfaction (in-class & e-learning) and collect manager’s feedback; report feedback to CME / International L&D teams and request adjustments / improvements where necessary
  • Create follow-up tools (quizzes, feedback, challenge…)
  • Monitor the e-learning activity
  • Track completion rates of all staff Trainings

 

4. Ambassador Role for Learning and Development

 

  • Embody, promote and deploy the Learning and Development strategy of the Maison locally
  • Possess deep understanding and knowledge of the Maison strategy, culture and products
  • Constantly seek to expand the knowledge of the local marketplace and practices

 

KEY INDICATORS

 

  • Number of Direct and indirect reports: None
  • Turnover or any financial responsibility: budget tbc
  • Total Cartier staff in KSA: 100 (including Retail)

 

Educational Background

 

University Degree preferred

Technical/Work-based Skills or specific knowledge (Must Have)

 

Fluent in Arabic and English

Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

 

Experience

 

Minimum  5 years’ experience with solid planning, organising and delivering training programs
