Based on strong category, market & client knowledge, the Jewelry and Eyewear Product Manager is the referent for those categories, in terms of action planning, business development and product expertise for all stakeholders internally and externally.


In line with the company’s vision and international strategy, the Product Manager will lead category projects at short, medium, and long-term horizon, cross-functionally in coordination with other departments, Boutiques and central teams. This includes building in-depth analysis and understanding of the sales results to drive action plans to boost sales, leading & promoting Jewelry 360 projects, action plans, and all related activities focusing on key launches, and work hand in hand with all stakeholders to ensure strong and on time deliverables.


Strategy & Action Plans:

  • Adapt the International directions to the LAC and Brazil market specifics and clearly identify top business, image and clients’ priorities, in close relationship with the Marketing Director and top management.
  • Work analytically to propose improvements to the categories that are empirical and objective. Set annual sales target by collections, budget and LE forecasts in coordination with network strategy.
  • Maximise new launches sales and visibility:  Suggest, develop, implement and follow-up 360 action plans.
  • Follow-up along the year on projects and action plans per segment and per main product launch, providing report progress, challenges and outcomes by market.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of entire product scope of the categories (jewellery and eyewear).
  • Conduct constant market intelligence surveillance, monitoring competition launches, market pricing as well as overall communication, network and sales strategies.
  • Generate recommendations destined to enhance impact of local product strategy (pricing strategy, quota management, etc).



Sales Management

  • Participation in forecasts on a regular basis working in collaboration with Supply Chain and Commercial Teams.
  • Regular and in-depth analysis of sales results, qualitative and quantitative.
  • Work closely with Commercial Teams (Retail & E-commerce teams) and Client teams to attain sales targets.

Product Offer

  • Pilot and communicate on the novelties launch plan and manage the local implementation & maximization of all new launches, guarantying commercial impact and exposure of the brand.
  • Keep developing in-range creations sales & visibility.
  • Manage product life cycle by conducting regular product ranking analysis and sell out monitor in collaboration with Supply Chain team.

Product Expertise

  • Develop a strong knowledge of the product categories from a technical, storytelling, clients, and commercial point of view.
  • Create and update tools to support the launches or range:  Product News, Tariff Books, catalogues or mappings.
  • Perform Jewelry and Eyewear trainings to Cartier LAC and Brazil newcomers as well as Boutiques ad CRC staff.
  • Validate LAC and Brazil retail prices in coordination with Central Teams.

Network support

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Commercial, Visual Merchandising and E-commerce teams to optimize the visibility & define assortments in the network, ensuring an omni-channel client experience.
  • Be the main point of contact on the product categories for all networks.
  • Support external partners network with Marketing initiatives, regular boutiques briefings, follow-up on selected urgent/VIP clients’ requests, etc.
  • Be strongly involved in commercial activations linked to Jewelry: Physical, digital, in all network to achieve image and sales objectives.


Communication & External Partners collaboration

  • Oversee all aspects of internal product communication.
  • Work closely with the Press & PR team to promote Cartier creations and build the brand awareness such as new collections amplification, shootings product selections, endorsement.
  • Support the Media & Digital team regarding media plans, media partnerships and digital content creation.
  • Collaborate with the Events team to ensure the best client experience on CRM and Communication events.


Watches & Wonders local management

  • Coordinate the W&W for Cartier LAC (external Boutiques):  Introducing the latest novelties, developing support documents, participating in external partners appointments.



Geographical area under responsibility: LAC (Latin America and Caribbean) and Brazil

Headcount supervised: 1 6-month intern co-management (shared with another Product Manager) and cross department Project Leader on selected transversal initiatives.


Master's degree from a University/Business School or equivalent with a specialization in Marketing/Merchandising.

  • Strong previous product management experience and strategic planning (Experience in luxury and jewelry sector would be a plus but not mandatory).
  • Full proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, SAP is a plus.

Strong communication skills in English and Spanish required, Portuguese would be a plus.
