Commercial Intern

Reports to: Commercial Performance & Operations Senior Manager

 

MAIN PURPOSE: 

The Commercial Intern will work with all collaborators of the department.  This person must have proven experience in sales, be proficient in excel and PowerPoint, and have very analytical and multitasking skills.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES                                                     

IT SUPPORT & TOOL MAINTENANCE

Give support to the External Boutiques & Watch Specialists in being the link between our stores and IT for Booster:

  • Create new users.
  • Update passwords.
  • Support the Area Manager with Boutiques and Specialist.
  • Upload sales in Booster and update the different reports on time.
  • Assist Business Analyst and Area Manager on inventory check.
  • Make sales modifications (sell-out/returns/exchanges).
  • Ensure data is accurate.
  • Assist users with questions.
  • Training internal and external users.
  • Corporate iPhone & iPad set-up for externals (in collaboration with IT)
  • Maintenance support of SharePoint websites and upload of documents

 

PARTNERS ACCOUNTS, EXPENSES & VENDORS

Assist the Commercial Coordinator in creation of accounts and vendors, maintaining our partner database accurate, updating our files, following up on expenses, etc.

 

TEAM SUPORT

MEETINGS, SEMINARS 

  • Support with Meetings: Monthly Meetings, Team Meetings, Partners Meetings, Market Visits, HQ visits  etc. Scheduling Agenda Minutes Logistic (equipment, lunch, etc.)
  • Support  department in the preparation and execution of events/seminars 
  • Support Commercial VP & Team with Meetings: Monthly Meetings, Team Meetings, Partners Meetings, Market Visits, etc. (Scheduling, agenda, minutes, logistic, equipment, lunch, etc.)
  • Support in designing Commercial Presentations

 

MARKET VISITS

  • Support team organizing market visits.
  • Includes preparation of documents (key info, dashboard, agenda, etc.)

 

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

  • Process invoices and claims.
  • Shipping (Fed-ex, communications to partners, etc.).
  • Printing (coordination with Copy Express & in-house).
  • Assist VP & Team in communication to partners & internal communication on behalf of department, as well as support in special celebrations (new comers, holiday greetings, weddings, birth, etc.).
  • CRM gift & boutique uniform inventory management
  • KPI reporting (traffic, conversion rate, average basket amongst others)

 

JOB PROFILE

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing.  Master’s degree a plus.

 

Required Experience:

Prior experience in business analysis, sales and/or retail is a plus.

 

Technical Skills / Abilities:

  • Strong IT literacy with advance proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Fully bi-lingual (English/Spanish); French & Portuguese a plus.
  • Analytical skills – comfortable with figures.
  • Service & details oriented.
  • Multitasking and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • People-oriented and team player.
  • Ability to adjust to different style of people, culture, background, etc.
