JOB TITLE                                               Retail Operations Manager

 

REPORTING TO                                     Retail Director

 

LOCATION                                              Seoul Korea

 

 


 

MAIN PURPOSE

Develop and optimize the performance of the Retail network in Korea and lead the Retail office and Boutique team for operational excellence.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Boutique Operations Management

  • Monitor all group and brand guidelines maintained by boutiques coordinating with Richemont ICS and Security Teams
  • Maintain the group's high standards of boutique operations, client service level, and boutique maintenance
  • Monitor BTQs to adapt operation policies in line with HQ's guidelines
  • Manage vendors, orders, and invoices within budget & respect of purchasing process in local
  • Lead and oversee the daily administrative support for the retail boutique
  • In charge of flagship store operations' excellence
  • Stock loss follow-ups such as incident reports and stock adjustment

 

 

Lead Retail Transformation Projects

  • Implementation of retail transformation projects for operational excellence
  • Holds regular meetings to lead various retail transformation projects
  • Share best practices and encourage boutique teams to deliver results
  • Implement various digital tools and integrate them into various commercial activities

 

 

Lead Boutique Projects

  • Prepare and manage retail projects: BTQ opening, closing, renovation, support pop-up/in events, including preparation of related documents
  • Collaborate with related departments to lead the projects (Marketing, VMD, Communication, etc.)
  •  Coordinate the construction and maintenance issues with related internal teams and the boutiques

 

 

People Management

  • Provide operations training to all boutique staff regarding boutique operations policies
  • Manage newcomers' training
  • Lead the three direct reports (2 Retail operations coaches and 1 Retail Operations Project Manager)

 

 

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience preferably in luxury industry with retail function included
  • Strong in both verbal and written communication in English and Korean
  • SAP preferred, Excel and PPT skill is must
  • Problem solving and process management skills
  • Professional proficiency of English language in written and verbal
