MAIN PURPOSE

In line with the local market strategy, the Retail Manager proposes and implements the Retail

strategies for Thailand in order to ensure that long-term strategic and financial objectives are achieved. Is also responsible for managing the day-to-day activity of the retail network, ensuring that the short-term sales objectives are reached. Will act as a Brand ambassador when representing the Brand at meetings, events, charity dinners and other work-related functions.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Retail Strategy:

 

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the Retail Division for the Maison in Thailand, including actions in CRS, High Jewellery and Store Design Planning and Visual merchandising.
  • Coordinate retail activities with HQ and local internal departments (i.e. PR,

Marketing, After Sales, and Richemont Shared Service departments) in

order to synergize the needs of all departments in achieving common corporate

objectives.

 

Boutique / Teams management:

 

  • Manage boutique Managers in Thailand.

Authorizes hiring of Boutique Managers and staff and ensures that Boutique Managers identify “talents” candidates who have long-term potential with the brand.

  • Participate in defining the Retail policy, implements and coordinates the network.
  • Work with local HR team to create equitable remuneration policy for employees encouraging job retention and satisfaction.
  • Identify success profiles and talent planning in order to define career paths and promote advancement.

 

 

  • Promote the professional growth of team members, developing the efficiency of their work relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Define and communicate missions and objectives of all team members, clearly establishing priorities.
  • Ensure core boutique operations are managed according to the Company’s standards.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends in the luxury industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and aware of what competitors are doing

 

Boutique Operations:

 

  • Ensure compliance of all internal boutiques operations with Richemont and Cartier Operations Standard and Guidelines
  • Update and follow up with boutiques on all updated version of Operations Guidelines
  • Maintain Maison’s operation standard of external boutiques
  • Liaise with regional security manager to ensure all boutiques comply with Group Security guideline

 

Retail Development:

 

  • Provide information concerning Retail Development for Thailand.
  • Ensure that Boutique Managers are familiar with new products, best practices, advertising campaigns, corporate policies, with the local and global brand’s

Initiatives.

  • Define and communicate needs of Retail Department in terms of product and financial support.
  • Ensure integrity and quality of CRM database and capitalize on it to implement customer activities to increase sales turnover.
  • Handles and authorizes after sales service cases which have been escalated by the CSS Manager.

 

   

Reports

    • Lead in boutique dashboard implementation and boutique action plan
    • Assist Country Manager in devising the strategic plan
