Visual Merchandising & Store Design Planning Internship

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic intern to join the Visual Merchandising & Store Design Planning team in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities to support the Visual Merchandising team (50% of the time) on the following topics:
- You will be in charge of preparing the orders for all product launches for point of sale materials in both the Retail and Distributors market in Excel and SAP
- Coordinate the logistics and deliveries of point of sale material into the different commercial touchpoints
- Create purchase orders, vendors and other financial needs in SAP, coordinating with local finance department and various vendors
- Prepare various reporting documents for local management and Headquarters
- manage the storage of all point of sale material in an external warehouse and within the Retail environment
- Assist on administrative and budget topics
Responsibilities (50% of the time) will be to support the Store Design Planning team within the commercial team (commercial team being Retail and Distributors) on the following topics:
- Contribute to the coordination of the day-to-day architectural maintenance of the stores to assure they are always in perfect condition and providing a safe environment in coordination with boutiques, contractors, and facilities team.
- Update maintenance manuals to ensure that the procedures and contacts are always updated.
- Support the construction manager with ordering and delivery of supplied items for the different projects.
- Coordinate furniture refurbishment for the boutiques.
- Support the construction manager by creating reports and progression updates.
- Assist on administrative and budget topics (Excel and SAP)
Profile requisites:
- An understanding of architectural drawings (knowledge of basic building maintenance including carpentry, painting and decorating is a plus)
- Sense of aesthetics and creativity
- Good computer skills (Autocad, Excel, PPT, SAP is a plus)
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable with numbers
- Organized and eager to learn
- Flexible and able to travel to the different boutiques within the Benelux and Nordics market if required
- Fluent in English
- Available 5 days a week
Education:
- Architecture / Design school, Construction or Business school related field (You must be enrolled for the duration of the internship)
