MAIN PURPOSE

 

 

As part of the Benelux & Nordics Team in the role of V.I.E - Data Analyst for the Marketing & Commercial Department as part of the Benelux & Nordics (Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland). Your role will be to actively contribute to data management & Business / Marketing performance analysis to support our Strategic Projects team and Marketing team.The length of this V.I.E assignment is 12 months and ideally starts in June 2024, the position is based in Amsterdam.

 

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

 

 

 

Reporting to the Strategic & Transformation Director, the V.I.E. Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Strategic Projects team, as well the Marketing team, by designing & building a library of dashboards and reports, with data-driven insights & recommendations. You will find below examples of responsibilities: 


1)    Responsibility #1: Collect/organize data from various sources and build automatized library of dashboards and reports using the group main data visualizer (Looker & Power BI), crossing Client, Marketing & Commercial sources.


2)    Responsibility #2: Constantly feed our Strategic project teams & Marketing team with key findings, leveraging internal reporting, but as well providing key insights on Macro-economic forecast, currency fluctuations… 


3)    Responsibility #3: Support local top management & Marketing teams with ad-hoc requests (including, but not limited to Competitors’ turnover and market share calculation, ROI calculation on market activations, ECOM business analysis…)

As a Data Analyst - Benelux & Nordics, you will have a great opportunity to be an essential contributor in a dynamic team, working for the success of a first-class Luxury Maison under strong business acceleration and transformation. We believe in shared success and understanding that with your actions you elevate your team and Maison. To contribute to team success, we expect the following:

 

  • You are graduated from a Master’s degree in Management, Finance, Engineering or equivalent, and seek interest on Data Visualization and/or Data Analysis. 
  • You have professional experience in building automated reports, with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • You are Innovative, curious, multi-tasking with good interpersonal, communication and organization skills,
  • You have a keen eye for detail and ability to understand where and how to look for errors in large datasets 
  • You possess Advanced skills in MS office tools, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to use POWER BI reports, Google Looker & ANAPLAN sales planning is a plus.
  • You are Fluent in English; Dutch and French are a plus.

YOUR JOURNEY WITH US

 

 

  • Firstly, you will be engaging with an online video interview of 15min for us to assess your understanding of the position, and motivations,
  • Subsequently, you will be meeting with International Talent Acquisition team to dive deeper and assess your fit to this role,
  • Finally, you will be able to meet with the local Hiring Team (Local HR and Hiring Manager) and will complete a Business Case with the Marketing & Merchandising Manager.
