Buccellati is an Italian jewellery, high-jewellery and silversmithing Maison founded in 1919, admired in the world for its craftmanship and the uniqueness of its creations. Position Summary

The Marketing & Communication Coordinator plays a key role in executing brand strategies and communication initiatives in the Japanese market. Working closely with the global communication team and local stakeholders, this role supports multi-channel efforts including PR, Media, Product marketing, retail marketing, and events to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Support

  • Coordinate marketing calendars and ensure alignment with global brand guidelines
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the high jewelry and luxury sectors
  • Liaise with retail teams to support in-boutique marketing activities and collateral development

 

Public Relations & Communication

  • Manage coordination with PR agencies and media partners
  • Prepare and distribute press releases, brand kits, and media assets
  • Track media coverage and prepare monthly/quarterly reporting
  • Support influencer and VIP gifting initiatives

 

Events & Promotion

  • Support the planning and execution of VIP events, exhibitions, and brand activations
  • Coordinate event logistics, guest lists, and post-event analysis
  • Work closely with HQ and local vendors to ensure high-quality execution in line with brand image

 

Administration

  • Administrative duties (e.g. vendor registration, invoice processing, shipping supplies)

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • 2–4 years+ of experience in marketing, communications, or PR (preferably in the luxury, fashion, or beauty sector)
  • Deep understanding of the Japanese luxury consumer and retail landscape
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills in both Japanese (native level) and English (business level)
  • Highly organized with strong project management and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and social media tools is a plus
  • Passion for luxury, fine craftsmanship, and Italian heritage brands
  • Open communication, team player
  • Can-do mindset, “extra mile” mindset, enjoy challenges
  • Able to work autonomously and try to solve problems on your own
