The Boutique Manager is directly responsible for boutique sales, discounts and direct cost, the implementation of Boutique marketing plan, management of boutique operations and boutique teams and the maintainence of CDB and the development of the clientle. 




Sales and Margin

  • Developing the turnover of the Boutique in accordance with the retail strategy:
  •  Meeting the turnover targets set by the Brand Management/Marketing Management
  • Respecting discount policy
  •  Achieve Key performance indicators defined by the direction


  • Responsible for the standard of welcoming & handling the clients (In the Boutique, on the phone, by mail)
  • Responsible for appearance and maintenance of the Boutique 
  • Responsible for the merchandising of the boutique
  • Brand Ambassador at immediate environment with partners and local dignitaries


Managing the operation of the Boutique:

  • Responsible for the stock & inventory 
  •  Accuracy compared with theatrical stock in line with the financial and retail procedures
  • Maintain the stock in a first choice condition
  • Sale of discontinued products in line with a price or incentive policy set by the Brand
  •  Responsible for the cash register (Compliance with procedures and with legal, fiscal and customs regulations)
  • Implement the daily reporting (Sales results per day with a short comment)
  • Implement the monthly reporting (Identify strengths and weaknesses, define actions plans for coming month)
  • Ensure the respect of all procedures issued by the company

Managing the Boutique team:

  • Giving advice in consultation for recruitment for Brand manager validation
  • Integration and training of new salespersons 
  • Monitoring the appearance and behavior of each person of the Boutique
  • Coaching the team to reach individual and collective objectives 
  • Coordination and motivation of the team (daily & monthly meeting, training, etc.) 
  • Develop a good spirit within the team (fairness)
  • Distribution of tasks and ensuring the salespersons’ versatility
  • Ensuring the group local security rules   
  • Staff scheduling
  •  Arbitration of conflicts


Direction of the market:

  •  Be the spokesman of the direction ensuring that strategies are understood and put into place among the team
  • Comment on a monthly basis the results of the store (sales, traffic, discount rate, special sales, CRM, etc.) 
  • Relate all issues concerning the store (staff, clients, sales, products, etc.)
  • Capacity to propose specific actions to be taken for the development of the sales



  • Providing top boutique service with the team
  • Providing excellent customer after sales service 
  • Building long term relationship with customers  
  • Taking care (personally) of VIP clients


Managing the development of the clientele of the boutique:

  • Be locally the Ambassador of the brand 
  • Development of a qualified customers database 
  • Building VIP client database and follow-up
  • Developing and implementing marketing relational plan
  • Constantly growing new clientele by defining prospection action plan and by recruiting outside the boutique



  • Extensive experience in luxury retail or hospitality
  • Entrepreneurial and results oriented with strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
