Regional Sales Manager

Baume & Mercier | New York, NY

Reports to: Brand President

 

 

Overview:   Reporting to the brand President, the Regional Sales Manager- is responsible for all Baume & Mercier authorized dealers on the East Coast and Central regions of North America. Directly responsible for monitoring and driving sell through, ensure proper assortment in each POS and develop strong relationships with principals and store personnel. Close collaboration with the sales administration, marketing and customer service teams to manage the daily business and ensure that the brand’s image is appropriately represented.

We need a strong developer and brand ambassador who will have strategic vision of the accounts that better represent the brand and how they should be supported at the retail sales level.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Account opening and pro-actively develop Baume & Mercier network footprint, Develop the distribution channel in accordance with brand strategy; visibility: space and shop in shop negotiation
  • Manage the day-to-day sales activity for authorized retailers in , Eastern/Central region, including stock management, merchandising, account servicing and coop marketing
  • Monitor sell-out activity at each point of sale, develop and implement changes to increase sell-through (including training, incentives programs)
  • Monitor competitive landscape within the region, distribution changes and provide constant feedback to the sales team
  • Support partners in planning, product allocation and stock management based on the agreed assortment
  • Develop and monitor action plan to achieve commercial qualitative and quantitative KPIs
  • Monitor the Brand Experience in all market touchpoints
  • Analyze market and customer developments as well as development of cooperative action plans (CRM)
  • Ensure Baume & Mercier’s image complies with the Maison guidelines in each point of sale
  • Plan and run training programs for Sales Teams
  • Prepare and conduct monthly meetings with partners
  • Develop proposals to strengthen the distribution network
  • Evaluate the potential of new shop-in-shops and coordinate their implementation
  • Support retailer events within territory
  • Explore, Propose promotional events
  • Communicate regularly with Brand President on status of accounts, forecasts, sales analysis and other relevant reports

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in luxury sales/retail preferred, luxury watches experience is a plus
  • Responsible, confident negotiator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer orientation with a healthy dose of ambition
  • Sales talent with modern omnichannel retail understanding
  • Independent, proactive approach with strong analytical skills
  • Flexible, able to work independently with strong follow through as well as part of the team and willing to travel up to 50%
  • Strong retail analytical skills, capable to provide strong reporting and able to communicate on how to improve the network
  • Experience in event management

Expected Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000

Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
