The Product Marketing and Merchandising Director is a key strategic role within our Maison, member of the Executive Committee of the Maison and reporting to the CEO.

 

MAIN MISSIONS

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 5-year product strategy map. Propose product strategy and manage the marketing mix for each collection

- Ensure product coordination between all players (Design, Industry, Operations, Sales, Communication) in order to achieve sales, profitability and launch date.

- Propose structured and creative products briefs every year strengthening both design and substance for all the collections positioned on men / ladies, sport / watchmaking.

- Oversee the development of the product’s competitive differentiation, product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies and product life cycle management.

- Analyze performance indicators (quantity, sales, margins, product life cycle).

- Ensure that all departments are aligned and adhere to a unified and coherent market-driven strategic path.

- Work closely with the Marketing and Communication  to synchronize efforts across marketings, ensuring alignment with global launch calendars and animation strategies

- Manage internal and external communication of product strategy and narrative

- Establish and collect data to obtain comprehensive business, client, market, competitive analysis and adapt strategic product decision accordingly.

- Develop and support Merchandising strategies and a compelling product assortment to optimize costumer experience and reinforce Brand identity in point of sales

- In charge of the Heritage of the Maison (Museum collection, Heritage history, auction house relationship management…)

- Act as  a visionary leader who inspires innovation and creativity

 

PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field;
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing and Merchandising,
  • Strong knowledge of the luxury watchmaking industry
  • Strong leadership abilities to manage and inspire a team.
  • Entrepreneurial spririt
  • Demonstrates creative and original thinking with strong problem-solving abilities, bringing innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to orchestrate and manage all details required to produce effective product strategies.
  • Demonstrate ability to build a compelling case and convey it effectively.
  • Thrives when handling multiple projects simultaneously and is strategic and efficient in managing them.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate ideas, strategies and results to diverse audiences in a clear, engaging, and persuasive manner.
  • Ability to remain composed and operate effectively in high-pressure situations, demonstrating a keen sense of urgency to meet deadlines promptly.
  • Possess passion, knowledge and curiosity for Arts, Design and culture.
