Visual Merchandiser – Middle East

In a demanding and constantly evolving environment, you will report to the Visual Merchandising (VM) / Architecture & store planning department.

As part of the House's strategy, you will be a true ambassador of the House's Style and Image.

Curious, agile and creative, you will be responsible for transposing the spirit of the collections and the energy of the fashion shows into the stores, creating a unique and memorable experience for each customer at all times, while ensuring that the visual codes of the House are well relayed and consistent.

You will be in charge of visual merchandising for the ME boutiques, within the retail and wholesale network.

 

Visual Merchandising Key responsibilities:

  • Know and apply VM guidelines and boutique procedures
  • Be responsible for the Image in the store and the maintenance of the space (display, cleanliness, lighting)
  • Raise sales teams' awareness of proper display maintenance
  • Ensure the quality of VM tools used to promote the company's products on display (monitor VM tool stock, inventory, communicate needs to manager)
  • Nurture the desire of Alaia's customers, by enhancing the presentation of the collections, thanks to a solid knowledge of the Brand, its heritage, its modernity and its know-how
  • Ensure photo display reporting in compliance with current deadlines
  • Know and use your knowledge of stocks to develop your contribution to the store's sales performance
  • Share collection layout proposals upstream with managers, taking purchasing into account
  • Ensure weekly product rotations in the boutique
  • Work very closely with stock teams to contribute to good stock management and organization

 

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

  • Experience of minimum 5 years in Visual Merchandising, in a luxury fashion environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Proactive, open-minded and creative
  • Fluent English required
  • Profiency in Adobe Suite and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Passion for fashion with an eye-for-detail
