Footwear Developer
Anywhere near Marche region, 57, IT
Reporting to the Footwear Development and Industrialisation Manager, the Footwear Developer is responsible for the development of footwear collections in collaboration with partner manufacturers, respecting timelines, budgets and aesthetic and technical requirements.
This is a fixed term contract with ASAP start.
How will you make an impact?
- You will monitor the development programme in cooperation with the footwear development and industrialisation manager and the manufacturers
- You will launch and monitor prototypes, in collaboration with the with manufacturers
- You will constantly review costs, in order to notice any constraints or pricing problem and suggest corrective actions
- You will support the industrialisation team in product development
How will you experience success with us?
- Previous experience in a similar position, with the ability to demonstrate a good technical knowledge of womens footwear and leathergoods
- PLM
- Work location needs to allow you to be in Marche region approx. 70% of your time
- Need to travel to Italy to visit manufacturers and to Paris
- Driving licence required
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Resilient to stress and adaptable to frequent changes
- Problem solver and quick thinker
- Able to keep the project on track
- Fluent Italian and English
