MAIN PURPOSE

 

This position is in charge of all A. Lange & Söhne wholesale sales activities of China market. To develop sales strategies and action plans to maximize the brand’s market share as well as strengthen the brand’s consistency & retailization in wholesale network.  To lead and monitor partner’s ALS sales team to achieve monthly/yearly sales target through the implementation of the action plans.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Wholesale China annual strategy plan:
  • Prepare wholesale annual strategy and budget according to HQ and China overall sales strategy and market analysis.
  • Drive tailor-made action plan for external boutique, Time Vallee and Wholesale POS.
  • Ensure timely review and report.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with qualified dealers.
  • Arrange annual retailer seminar and monthly review meetings.
  • Ensure the implementation of aligned distribution strategy (location, opening & closing).
  • Support store architecture and maintenance budget control and coordination between brand, partners and landlords.

 

  1. Commercial and CRM follow-up:
  • Ensure the implementation of sales policy, incl. product, discount etc.
  • Implement the Clientele book in wholesale to ensure data sharing, conversion and sellout optimization, and CRM quality improvement.
  • Improve new customer recruitment with daily clientele KPI follow up and selling ceremony enhancement.
  • Design wholesale participation policy and ensure the execution quality of brand’s campaigns and events.
  • Qualify Red & Orange customers in wholesale.
  • Supervise instore or other local level event execution quality.

 

 

  1. Staff training & team development
  • Define training strategy & calendar with training manager for wholesale.
  • Supervise and support new store onboarding to ensure performance after opening.
  • Conduct on-site coaching, role play and operational check during store visit.
  • Ensure implementation and result of mystery shopping.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer from retail to wholesale on daily basis, and through other platforms such as boutique manager seminar, ambassador training, red & orange workshop etc.
  • Build ambassador network in wholesale.

 

 

  1. Merchandising & Operations
  • Review model stock and supervise replenishment on regular basis.
  • Ensue healthy stock coverage and best-seller on-hand rate by working with HQ and Merchandising & Operation supervisor.
  • Drive effective action plan on aged stock.
  • Make sure each wholesale doors’ operational standard meet Richemont and brand’s requirement.
  • Drive customer service improvements.

 

 

PROFILE

 

  • Minimum BA degree and above
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-end watch sales.
  • Ability to learn complex procedure and proactive in proposing innovations and improvement
  • Solid experience in retail
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of time
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
