Your managers
Your two new managers combine 23 years of service at A. Lange & Söhne, of which more than 10 years in our Executive Committee. What they lack in patience for longwinded problem circling, they make up for in passion for their jobs, their team and this brand. They might be different in character, their teams might be very different, but you’ll need the same skill set and personality to enjoy this job.
Your profile
You have done this before, for five years at least. You are fluent in English and German, and the MS Office Suite is your second home.
Also, you are comfortable with transition and transformation, enjoy fast pace and tolerate waiting. Because you are genuinely interested in the business we run and how we do it, you can prevent problems before they occur. You are emphatic enough to know when to push and when to give space, you are good at building rapport across functions and hierarchies, you are precise, direct and you respect which information is not yours to share.
Your job
- Coordinate our cross-departmental and cross-functional activities, e.g. larger business updates comprised of presentation parts from different stakeholders, monthly webinars with the global retail and boutique managers or the annual corporate strategy review: manage timelines, follow-up with contributors and secure the quality of the final product
- Be first contact for team members to organize the right meeting at the right time with the right stakeholders
- Flag time sensitive issues and ensure they are dealt with appropriately
- Manage the two agendas and business travels
- Take the daily sand out of the wheels, from readying documents to organizing food on the table
- Hold the fort: when the two are not on-site, you make sure operations run smoothly
