Assistant Manager- Planning and Allocation

Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for the management of the logistics (traffic/import/export) and allocation strategies as an integral part of the North American supply chain organization. This role will also support the planning and merchandising teams to deliver a robust allocation roadmap that connects with the merchandising and financial plan of each product category and distribution channel. As a distribution support role, accurate data integrity is required to maintain relevant needs of shipping and receiving products/goods from both Montblanc HQ as well as other external vendors.

 

Responsibilities (or Mission)

  • Manage and execute allocation strategy for core and novelty collections
  • Supports and monitors MRP & MDS parameters for inventory optimization
  • Evaluate and monitor stock level at POS and E-commerce site at the SKU level and maintain healthy MOC across network
  • Lead monthly inventory reconciliation process to ensure EOY targets are achieved
  • Manage all procurement and purchase orders of sellable goods from HQ
  • Provide distributional support with the local DC to ensure timely deliveries
  • Build strong cross functional relationships
  • Support manager on all inventory planning tasks (events, client requests, internal sales)
  • Support planning team on ad hoc projects

 

Qualifications

  • 1-2 year of experience in supply chain, planning or allocation role
  • Experience in luxury would be a plus
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to details
  • Knowledge in ERP system (ie: SAP, AS400, Anaplan…)

Expected Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience
