MAIN PURPOSE


The IWC Marketing & Communications Executive supports PR, Events, Media, Marketing &
Merchandising in the Oceania (Australia & New Zealand) Marketing & Communications team.
This role coordinates the teams’ effort to transmit the Maison’s Marketing & Communications
messages on time, and within budget, to deliver exceptional events, content, and activations,
and to ensure the execution standards of the Maison are upheld.
This role is required to interact closely with Marketing & Communications Manager, agency
partners, Retail teams, Finance, Logistics, regional and HQ teams on all marketing initiatives.
The role is responsible for assisting strategy/ planning, budget management and leading
implementation of plans with Marketing Intern, across all marketing disciplines.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Key responsibility 1: Media / Advertising


• Support the Marketing & Communications Manager to execute on Media Strategy, Media
Plans and Media expense reconciliation (through SAP / Bumblebee)
• Confidently understand, manage and be able to present media plan to internal and
external partners
• Manage agencies (HQ and local) for creative production to the correct specifications
and ensure on time delivery of all media assets to agencies & partners.
• Liaise with partners to plan, negotiate, and execute COOP Media activations.
• Review reporting and analytics, be able to confidently present results and implementation
recommendations internally and externally.


Key responsibility 2: Events


• Support the Marketing & Communications team, to execute yearly event calendar with
timely execution on all relevant tasks, to ensure high quality client & press experience.
• Coordinate with Marketing & Communications team on briefing, planning & execution, to
support product launches, CRM, and PR activations within Oceania marketing calendar.
• Support delivery of high-quality presentations for all event proposals ensuring Presentations
are error-free, for validation and buy-in from internal team and regional/ HQ teams.
• Support Marketing & Communications Manager with budget record management of
activations and be able to confidently report on status/ provide updates spend to plan.

Key responsibility 3: PR


• Manage Press Office; coordinate and deliver assets to media partners for press callouts
and assembling pictures for PR editorial opportunities.
• Coordinate dissemination of Brand PR assets in a timely manner:
• Develop retro-planning timelines on PR asset delivery for major campaign
moments to team in Weekly WIP and Marketing Meetings
• Share PR assets to all relevant parties and manage PR agency dissemination to
media – (sharing appropriate content when applicable)
• Attend editorial shoots as agreed with team when required and ensure Maison guidelines
are upheld by all parties involved.
• Key liaison point of Oceania Press office to coordinate Press itineraries with Media partners,
supporting the Marketing & Communications Manager.
• Manage DMR Reporting, with support of Marketing team. Confidently update reporting
per quarter and present learnings and implementation recommendations to internal and
external parties.


Key responsibility 4: Social / E-commerce / CRM


• Coordinate with Marketing Team and social agency to plan and manage local Social
Account, content calendar and budgeting.
• Monitor social performance vs HQ objectives and ensure we are striving to optimize
wherever possible. Confidently communicate on social status, planning, results, and
requirements to all internal and external partners
• Liaise with retail partners to ensure IWC collateral needs are met across partner network
(e-comm, website, digital, social, CRM)
• Help to ensure IWC e-commerce brand guidelines are upheld on partner network,
monitor, and suggest ways to optimise presence and visibility for IWC
• Liaise with HQ to ensure retailer BrandNet is updated with the latest products and assets so
they can log on and update their website and post on social
• Assist with set-up, implementation, and management of new e-commerce/ web sales for
Oceania and uphold all HQ guidelines and protocols
• Support Marketing Team with CRM plan and executions


Key responsibility 5: Vendors & Collaterals


• Assist with coordination of Vendors and Marketing Collateral for all Marketing &
Communications activity priorities assigned across the activation plan.
• Liaise with Marketing team to ensure all materials are prepared and checked ahead of
events and any logistics or other movements have been organized.
• Assist Marketing & Communications Manager with vendor sourcing, quote evaluation,
selection and secure finance alignment for vendor agreements and collaterals, with
sufficient lead time on sourcing.
• Liaise with Marketing team to ensure SAP tasks such as PO, GR and invoicing requirements
across all marketing disciplines are managed efficiently to ensure all processes are upheld
and vendors are paid on time

Experience & Profile


• 2-3 years’ experience as a Marketing Assistant within luxury, retail, or agency environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications.
• Strong prioritization & organization skills.
• Can demonstrate flexibility & agility.
• Confident with ambiguity & resolving issues.
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency with Power Point, Excel & Word
• SAP Experience, would be a plus
