The Oldest Fine Leather Goods House in the World

Founded in 1829, Delvaux is a truly Belgian brand. In fact, it was even born before the Kingdom of Belgium, which was only established one year later, in 1830.

Created in Brussels by the innovative Charles Delvaux, la Maison has remained at the forefront of luxury leather goods for nearly two centuries because of its savoir-faire, uncompromising craftsmanship and the outstanding quality of its creations.

Founded in Brussels in 1829, Delvaux is the oldest luxury leathergoods house in the world, the inventor of the handbag, and the first to register a patent for handbag design beginning in 1908. Drawing on a legacy spanning nearly two centuries and with over 3,000 designs in its archives, Delvaux is the very emblem of premier luxury leathergoods, combining heritage with innovation through constantly renewed savoir-faire. Each Delvaux bag is a work of art, made by hand with the highest quality materials.
