Job mission: 

Within the Marketing & Communication department, the Director Product Marketing Jewelry is responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the Cartier Jewelry Marketing Department in maintaining the brand’s integrity and image. This position’s key responsibilities and accountabilities lie in implementing the international product strategy and launch plan in the US and Canada.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Product Marketing:

  • Partner with senior marketing management in both North America and HQ to develop and implement the short-and long-term marketing strategies for Cartier’s jewelry product category for both the American and Canadian markets. (1 to 3-year plan, business review, action plans & sales budget). 
  • Define and oversee the North America marketing strategy and product launch plans and activations based on objectives (growth/turnover of the category). 
  • Coordinate the implementation through 360-degree plans with all departments and cross-functional teams. 
  • Oversee and manage programs to drive sell-out in partnership with other departments and ensure a seamless flow of communication with all the Retail boutiques/network and Commercial Strategy. 
  • Responsible for all new products, pricing, and communication to Retail Division. 
  • Manage the Jewelry Marketing team and the Jewelry marketing budget. 

 

Business Management & Sales:

  • Lead continuous business analysis and trends in the region and design relevant action plans to foster competitive advantage. 
  • Define and revise the global sales target (key contact for Finance department). 
  • Provide market and business analysis to local teams and HQ Marketing teams with analysis of competition activities (launches, prices, comms, etc.) and with Cartier results on the products side (in internal and external network). 
  • Implement the pricing strategy. 

 

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing with master’s degree preferred. 
  • 10+ years of experience in product/category management and marketing; strong knowledge of luxury/jewelry environment in North America a plus. 
  • Expertise and skills in building 360marketing plans, product briefs, and managing time and action calendars. 
  • Inspiring engaging interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people in various disciplines and cross-functions as well as present to senior leadership. 
  • Experience leading and developing a team of direct reports. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at the same time with great attention to detail. 
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point etc.) are required. 
  • Knowledge of Power BI a plus.

Expected base salary range: $160,000 to $180,000.

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
